Ms. Liza is the Founder and Creative Director of Heart & Sole Dance Center. As a shy six year old, she started dancing in Miami with Heidi & Joe Melchioni. Through dance she developed confidence and self-esteem. She continued taking lessons for the next eighteen years. At the age of 15, she starting choreographing for local dance studios. She attended national workshops in Miami and New York, learning from the best in the industry and developing her own creative style. It soon became evident, her passion was for teaching. While studying Modern Dance, Ballet, Stage Production and Business Management at the University of South Florida she started a volunteer dance program at a Child Care Center in Punta Gorda. She devoted herself to teaching children who would otherwise not have had the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of dancing. Herein lies the heart and soul of this dance center.
